Tripped Circuit breaker 04 700 sportsman??? where is it
I killed the battery ( I think) so I bought a brand new one and my machine is still dead Engine donesnt turn over. The manual said the circuit breaker may be tripped and need to be reset. Where is it? Anyone know or know what else my problem may be?
All help is GREATLY appreciated.

I had an 03 sp700 that had the circuit breaker just at the battery output looked like a regular wire. Would not get power up to a small black module to the upper right of the radiator (looking at machine). Removed link & installed fuse for it. It would do nothing, no lites, speedo or anything.

I am just going through that problem now. Actually the quad died when I went to turn around on a trail while hunting. Put it in reverse and it backfired once and died. No power to the key at all. Battery was fine. Had to walk out of the bush 8 miles in the dark, uphill with an 8 lb rifle to get back to camp. No impressed. Any way there is a fuseable link on the frame that comes off the heavy wire from the battery. There are three curcuit breakers under the front cover by the radiator. They are sealed in a black pouchs. There is three black pouches under there. These pouches are about 2 inches long by about an inch wide. A real goofy system. They are suposed to be self resetting. I cut one of mine open and it was full of water and breaker all corroded. I jumped the wire in the bush but still could not get the bike going. So had to tow it back out of the bush with a Honda 500 ( Dam good bikes). Still have not figured out what the problem is but hopefully might find out today when I start to rip it apart and run some tests.
