700 Battery?
#1
I topped off the battery 1 month ago with distilled water and I checked it the other day and it was a little low again. Anyone else chech their battery? Battery works fine so i won't worry about it. Maybe it pucked some out from the vent.

When I bought my bike I had problems with water escaping the batt, it turns out the battery was toast. I went and got a napa sealed for about $90, and that one had a hard time too. Well it turns out that it came new with 2 or 3 bad cells. I returned it and got a new one and it works great!

Any of you guys have the warn 2500 winch and if you do how long does it take to kill your battery? Had mine out last week (I was pulling my dog house down to an area that I made new for her) I had to pull about 40' of the cable out to reach it over a pad I built. Anyway just as I was getting the last few feet of cable pulled in my battery light started blinking. Do your winches use that much battery or is my battery getting weak? What's your experiences with winches and batteries? BTW my dog house weighs about 300 #.

at low rpm, the stator isnt charging like it should, escpecially if you were running headlights.
ive had my low battery light come on while winching with the 3 headlight mod on(while idling)
its never failed to crank. after a few seconds of riding at a higher RPM, the light goes off.
but the winch does eat some power, this is for sure.
