Oh and The sand riding ,,The Hawkeye hasnt been stuck yet,,and ive climbed some 30 feet high dunes with it and never has it been stuck, My Hawkeye will run out in the Powdery sand around 40mph ,,that 330 trailboss will get stuck climbing a dune without Paddle tires, All did was change the tires to 25 Inch good years and all is well with the Hawkeye. I'm in the same place. I'm going friday to pick out which one I want. But for me it's either the 06 2x4 Hawkeye or the 06 Trail Boss 330. I'm taking from reading this thread that everyone would recommend the Trail Boss 330. I do have one question the about this clutch spring everyone keeps talking about. It would be this what clutch spring should I replace it with or is the 06 TB 330 spring fine?

 

EPI springs are great and cheap. I put the red spring in if I remember right and a K & N and it is a little snappier. Nothing arm jerking or anything but a little be quicker between the turns. I ride mine like I stole it and put it through a beating. I mostly rode the tight rough trails in the northwest and the TB was great. I would spend a couple extra dollors and get nice wheels and tires. I put ITP mudlites on mine and it goes great. The stock tires worked but I was always worried about getting a flat because they are only 3 ply while the ITP are 6 ply.

 

so i went with the 07 hawkeye 4x4 i am hoping the bugs from the 06 are worked out noticed some small changes but the wife really loves her hawkeye now it did good this weekend
