Im looking at interco swamplights. Dont want to loose ride ability,do alot of riding on hardpack. How much will these affect stering and will the fit? Im looking at horsepower upgrades, dont want to add any lift if I can help it. I seen a quad that had a lift just for the front, does any one know who builds it? Im looking at throwing 27x12x12 on the back and 27x10x12s on the front. If any body has any info, much thanks!

I put 26x9x12 mudlites on the front of my 700, had to put 4- 3/8 washers behind stock wheels to keep tie rods from rubbing.

That can't be a good way to regain space by putting washers? All that pressure to rely on a washer?

i ride with a few guys that have done this as well.
no trouble yet.
if not washers, a real set of spacers is a must for the front.
for a 10" front, youll need spacers(or aftermarket wheels) no matter what, but you can get by with the 9"

highth isnt the issue. its the width your going to have problems with. you need aftermarket rims or the spaces to get the extra space needed to clear or you will have rubbing issues.

A taller tire is better in mud than a wide tire anyway. I made the mistake of putting wider tires on my X and it made it harder to steer and caused a rub on the right front.
The taller tire will get down to more solid ground instead of floating on loose mud. That is why tractor tires are not 3 feet wide.

Some are 3' wide... Where do you think BigFoot tires came from?
