2007 Stealth 800 ADC
Well I just picked up an 07 Grizz 700 yesterday as a Christmas gift. I only put it oin a building for hidding until tomorrow but it steered way easy! Now they are on my arsse to get one to ride with them. A quad that is but not a Grizz for me. I had a Rincon that I sold and it rode very well but thats about all I liked about it. Thats why I was asking what you recommend. I thought about getting the Can Am 800 but love the looks of the stealth. There is a deluxe version of the Stealth comming out soon. One guy has already bought one and it has the active decent feature. I just can't decide between these two bikes. I ride the mountains and its steep, one reason I sold the Rincon.

Where I ride there is NO WAY I will buy another machine without good engine braking and low range period. I already went down that road with the Rincon. When you start off an embankment and it drops strait the hell off, long grades like this can be very dangerous. A machine of this size and weight, all the big bores really are heavy and it could be curtains. I just got the new 700 Grizz took it for a ride around the Mountain. Rides good seem to handle well could tell much difference from my old Rinny it had more power, low, engine braking was better. Basicly I thought it was better in every way other than the ride. The ride was very good just not quiet as smooth as the Rincon but not a big difference at all. It has ggod acceleration, basicly where I ride here you not gonna tell much difference in speed because this machine is a fast as you could use here.

Ahh just be thankful you bought a reliable polaris product, the ebs on the 06 and 07's are much better than they were on previous model year sportsmans. I know that the front wheel back drive was supposed to come out in 2006 on the sportsman x2's but polaris had a few issues with them so they waited till 07 and put them on the deluxe models but i know the front gearcases look about the same on units with and without the front wheel back drive.

hey, i'm a new user, so bear with me a moment.
talked to my dealer about the ADC issue and he gave me a temp solution to the problem.
1.start engine
2.shift to reverse while pushing rev. override and back up approx. 10 ft.
3. switch engine off without releasing rev. override
4. release reverse override
5. shift to low range
6. start engine.
this is suppose to trick the bike into thinking it's in rev override.
hav'nt tried it yet but will let everyone know if it works!

what kind of crap are they feeding you, "to make the atv think it is in reverse override". The atv IS NOT equipped with adc so there is no way you can trick it to think it has it. And furthermore you have an awesome bike so just ride the som biach like you stole it, just my two cents Have a nice day
