Default 2007 Stealth 800 ADC

Greetings! I just bought the new LE stealth under the impression that it would have ADC (active decent control). It does not. The dealer told me it had it but it doesnt. They said that all the deluxe models had it and that the LE's were considered a deluxe model. I am just wondering if anyone might have any input as to why it does not have it?

Not sure why the LE Stealth does not have ADC.
However this is indicated right on the Polaris website
under the Stealths specifications data.

ADC (Active Decent Control) N/A

if your dealer tolf you that it had it and was one of the reasons you bought that model i would put a big stink up and tell him you want it added as they said it was on it or at least either take it back or get some money off the deal. but thats just me.

the 07 LE models do not have adc. they are basically 06 models. only the delux models will have adc they also have the cast wheels and radial tires. the standards have no ebs and bias tires and steel wheels. the le models have ebs but no adc. tell your dealer to read the book.....

the 2007 sales book is confusing as it does not spec out le models. but after looking at the website under 800 stealth it says adc n/a... as i said before they took 06 models that were being made and put diff colors and such then they call them le,s and sell em as 07 models

That is the only thing that I can see is different from the delux models and he LE besides the LE has a cooler display! Mine was manufactured after they stopped making the 06's, so no they are not 06's with a different color. they have everything that the 07 are suppost to have except the ADC apperently AND I AM PISSSSSSED!!!!!!!!
For more $$$$$$ I love the machine but I got ripped!

If your dealer told you it had something and it doesn't, he needs to be held responsible. I would not let him off the hook. Tell him he told you it had ADC and it doesn't and that was a major factor in your purchase and you want him to make things right. If he refuses, then tell him your going to call Polaris. You may wind up with nothing, but what the hell. It's worth a shot. Now on the flip side of that...

This is a perfect example of why it's important that we all make sure we research what we buy. Impulse purchases burn people more than not. The specs for these machines are published. Read before you buy. Don't rely on somebody who doesn't know you to tell you the truth. It's just common sense.

BTW I don't mean to make light of your situation. I have been in your shoes stealth800 and nothing pisses me off more. But the only way to avoid it is to arm yourself. You shouldn't have to, but you do.

And lastly, if it doesn't work out and you don't get the ADC and your just flat out stuck, no point in ruining what should be a good moment. Enjoy the new machine. It's still plenty nice. I love my 06. Love it and would buy it again.

Yeah, believe it or not i had done the research and did see the N/A on the web site and should have called polaris before hand, but my dealeer told me that it was a mistake on their web site and that it was equiped with it. I should not just have taken his word for it. I was going to get a deluxe model and fell in love with the stealth. I could see no difference on the showroom floor either. As soon as I rode it I was like what the hell. I have a 02 700, and a 04.5 700 and I am very familiar with the machines and the EBS and was REALLY looking foward to the ADC. I did talk to the dealer yesterday and he said he was checing into it. He said that the polaris rep said they may come up with a kit to put on them so that I will have ADC, but who knows. I have been lied to before... I take full responsability. After all I was buying. I do love the machine! I have only put on about 110 miles but WOW, going from my 04.5 700 to this machine all I have to say is WOW!!! I am going to have to buy another new one for 08!!!
