Default Power loss after 5000EFI ECM re-flash?

Any of you 500EFI guys notice a power difference (loss of power) after getting the ECM re-flashed for the high altitude runninng problem? I have an 05 500 X2 and I swear it has less power now that the ECM has been re-flashed.

Default Power loss after 5000EFI ECM re-flash?

I just got my 06 500 X2, the dealer re-flashed it before delivery so I can't compare before and after. I can tell you though that it couldn't have lost much power as it is faster from a dead stop all the way to top speed (and pulling away) than my buddies 06 500EFI (also re-flashed) that is well broken in. Take it for what it's worth.

That's very interesting. I would think the X2 would be slower. How did your buddy break in his engine? Maybe the X2 is geared different...Hmmmm....very interesting.

I 'Think' I have noticed a slight decrease in power. I wish I could ride it before and after. Bottom line though is it is not running PIG rich on me now when I start, stop, and restart it at high altitudes.

I just got both of ours back from the dealers for the reflash and melting plastic issues. They seem to run much better since the flash and I would say that they both have a little more bottom end power now than they did before the flash, and the acceleration is snappier than it was before. They reflashed them to stop them from stalling and it has worked do far.
