I IMO hink that the Polaris tires are one of the worst for sidewll punctures. I have several plugs in the sidewalls and so does my buddy that also has the 800EFI he has plugs on sidewalls on 2 out of 4
My bike has 1500 miles on it and his has about 750 miles on it.

Again my only complaint on my 800EFFI is the tires

I also have slime in mine and did when the sidewalls were puntured. They did not go flat fST BUT SLOWER DUE TO THE SLIME plus it was easier to see where the hole was cause they were green

Now I feel very confident in patching the tire myself.
I will pick up a repair kit within the next couple of days.
