Default Scrambler 2006 vs. Scramber 2007

Hello Polaris Folks!

I'm going to buy a Scrambler 500. My dealer has an 06 leftover and I may be able to get a better deal. Are there any differences between the 06 & 07? My dealer doesn't know as they have only been a Polaris dealer for a short period of time.

Thank you in advance for helping me out! I really appreciate it!

Same ATV exactly, in fact even a 2000 has the same specs as a 2007 2000 2007 specs except the 2000 is lighter some how.

the scrambler really hasnt changed at all since 2000, when they had the 500 H.O. motor added to the line.

The front a-arms went back to the grease zerks not sure if they did that on 05 and 06, I know that my 04 doesnt have them up front.
The rear axle assembly on the 07 looks entirely different. I have asked the dealer what has changed, but all they said was that they noticed it was different as well but didnt know the specifics as to what had all changed. Its still got the zerk in the middle but it almost looks like its all sealed up better. Maybe they improved it a little.
Otherwise from what I have seen in person its the same thing.

Both are as close to the same as can be.Go with which ever he will give you the best deal on and throw in the most goodies(never be shy to ask for stuff when buying a $6000 toy)

Personally i would get the 2006, same thing better price, you'll be happy with either one but saving money is always good. Also the one thing that is probably different which is very important......... the color. any ways good luck and ride hard my friend

They are the same. I also say go with the one you can get the better deal on. I bought a left over 05 last year because the price was reduced so much. The only real difference is the plastic. I like the black and silver 07 much better than the orange 06 but I like the orange over the yellow flames on my 05. You can always get different plastic and graphic kits though.

BassBlaster -

Where do you go to get different
plastic kits? As I have 2 Sportsman
450's, I like to buy on for changing
out my "Hunter Green' when not
the hunting season, to sport it
abit.

Thanks for all the info!
