Default 700 EFI Break in help

I just purchased my first ATV an 06 700 EFI and I have been told 3 differnt ways to break it in. I have been told half throttle for the first 12 miles to vary speed and no wide open for 3 tanks of gas. I would appreciate any input from the experts here on this page. Our family has had a polaris 330 4X4 for several years and it has never had a single problem except for it being very cold natured. It needs to run 30 minutes before riding to deer stand on cold mornings. This would be the reason for the EFI. I really look forward to the same success with my own ATV and again any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
