wow thats it ur scrammy should go at least 70 with those mods. a stock 500 should do 60-65 mph topped out completly. My 400 does 65- 70 mph. Where did you custom mount your winch? and Polaris rocks, my 400 doesn't foul plugs but its always good to carry extras. lol.

 

I've played with my secondary for low end not top end, the trails i ride are pretty tight and without a low range i wanted all the low end power i could get, besides top end hurts lol. I have seen too many of my buds piled in the trees and it's not my cup of tea. The winch mounted under the front compartment thanks to ScramblerXrated. His looked so clean that I thought i would try it, 45mins with the welder and I had a snazzy winch too. Sorry to all the 2stroke guys cause your oil tank is in the way. And the bikes in the back of the truck waiting for someone to ****** it up lol.

 

My modded 500 Scrambler runs in the 65mph area.This is due to the gearing for the 4x4.
My old 400 2x4 would go 70+ and it was scary.

 

Well I took the Scrammy to the dealer on Friday and ordered my 2007 Sportsman 500 EFI Deluxe, in blue of course. I have to go in tomorrow to see about trade in value on the Scrammy and see what else I want to put on the bike, like upgrade the winch and tires, amd put some blue goodys on it. I'll let you know what I get for a trade and and if i get a deal cause I have to wait 3 weeks to even see the bike. I'll keep ya posted

 

Well boys and girls, The dealer is going to give me $3800 for my bike. Not too bad I guess, and they told me that I'll have to wait till mid december to get my bike as there aren't any blue 07s in Ontario. But no big deal. I also upgraded to the Warn 3000# winch and 27" Mudlite XTRs, and blue rack extenders and hand gaurds, so that will take an extra day or so, oh well, Merry Christmas to ME!!!!!!! LOL
