Default Polaris Stealth 800

Just get a 3/8-24 tap and drill the hole out with the required drill bit and tap in some new threads, then use a grade 8, 3/8-24 bolt in place. A rat-tail file will help ream out the slots in the bumper mounting tabs. My new rear bumper did the same when I tried the install, and I tapped all the holes out prior, and didn't over torque. I drilled out all four and threaded them to 3/8-24, and no more issues.

Hey kawifan

Which is faster the polaris 800 or the can am?

I bought a 500 stealth and love it... What size tires did you put on and did u need spacers in the front because the tire width?

I think all 2008 Sportsman EFI models will have dual mufflers. Read it somewhere, can't remember the source.

Wow, I just viewed your pics Kawi. That is quite the looker! Too bad it has to get dirty. LOL!! I wish I would have taken pictures of mine before I rode it. One of these days I'll get her all spiffed up and post some pictures.

KAWIFAN,

Welcome to the 800 club, the Stealth club at that, LOL. Yea, I really like mine too. Still to ride for my 2nd
time, hope to this weekend, see how that goes!

Enjoy your ride, and as I planned to get it muddy, I hope to shine it up abit too..8-)
