with a little help from my friends!
Just wanted to let everyone who helped out with the Locked up 400 Express post that I have gotten it all back together and she's fine. I ran into some other neglect issues with it, such as swing arm bushings, outer tie rod ends,
a cracked air box, and a main jet access plug that had a hole rubbed clear through it from the grit trapped between it and the rubber isolater block on top of the tranny. A new battery, new filters, oils, gas and a shot or two of grease in all the right places and away she goes!
Thanks again to everyone who read and replied to my posts, I've found that there isn't anything that can't be fixed
if you know where to look for answers. Internet forums are sometimes better than a shop manual.
Keep 'em rubber side down and be safe, I'll be back if I ever need a hand again!
