fuel odor sportsman 05 500

Default fuel odor sportsman 05 500
I am noticing a strong odor of gasoline when on my quad. it is an 05 sportsman, 500. I checked the cap, and can't find a leak. Any ideas where this could be coming from?

Had that problem on my 03 SP 500 recently. Gas was dripping just a little out of the tube off the carb float bowl if I remember correctly. Turns out the needle & seat were shot and the carb was really dirty.

must be the vent lines check them for drippage.
