Is anyone hearing when the 07 800X2 will hit the dealers? Is anyone planning on picking one up?
My MI dealer keeps telling me Polaris will be building them after Thanksgiving.

I have been reading up on these for some time. I'm not strictly Polaris but I like the overall package and I like the POWER. I rode the 500 and the 800 at the dealer to make the motor decision. Sounds like the 500's are well liked. I am purchasing my first quad due to many wipeouts in the sand on my dirt bike.
Here's the order:
07 Polaris Sportsman 800 X2 Deluxe. 9,680 OTD minus accessories
Blue
Front rack extender
mirror
black handguards
low black windshield
trailer hitch
hot grips
rear gauntlets
cover
more goodies to come after warranty

My local Dealer has a '07 X2 500 but no 800 yet.

I think if you want all the grunt and speed you would be looking at a SP800. But I understand you want to ride 2-up and drive like a maniac! LOL!

My local dealer initially told me last month that the 800 X2 would be in by Thanksgiving. Now he is telling me January.....ugh! Once they get here, I will be going to ride one and if I like it, will get one.

Is your dealer saying what the hold up is? Did you ride the 07 500X2. I thought it was good but not enough power for me.

 

they got it in here, i think they have everything cept the outlaw 525

 

When he called me a couple of weeks ago, he just said they would not get any in until after the 1st of the year. And, he didn't even have any of the 500 X2 to ride at that time other than one that was just sold.
