Default Outlaw 525??

The few dealers that were supposed to get theirs at the end of November did not (obviously). One of the dealers stated that he called the warehouse and they said his 2 were built but were waiting to undergo final inspection, which would push back the delivery date to January. Wonder what they do in "final inspection" that takes a month?

He got to ride the 525, after they put it together, he said that it was extemely fast and the predator 500 that they rode at the same time would not even come close to hanging with it. I will try to get some more details from him, but I know they only took it out for a few minutes. KTM makes some great engines and I am sure the Outlaw 525 will have that same quality in the motor. My friends with motorcycle KTM 450's and KTM 525's speak well about them.
Ah yes.....always a person there to beat on your quad before you purchase it . Even though a deposit has already been taken.

I talked with my dealer and I do believe he is level 1. He told me anyone that says they can get them before feb is fooling you. Also there will bo no incentives and some dealers will cahrge a availability premium. (whatever that means) I love the idea of the irs but may just stick to my z400, Its paid for.

I am getting my 525 for $6799 + $12 title fee so my out the door price will be $6811, no premium price here.

My local Yamaha dealer would not budge off of MSRP for the 700R se I was looking at ($7600 +) so the 525 was a real easy decision for me.

I think it is now safe to say no one knows when they are going to be released for sure now, including dealers. I just want to keep on top of it so I can get it out of the dealers hands before everyone and there dog there "test" rides it when it does come in.
