Is the 00 scrambler 500 an HO

 

Yes the Scrambler 500 has had the HO engine since the 99 models came out (I think 99 is right). Polaris put the HO in the Scrambler so the stock 500 would beat the stock 400.

The 500 H.O came out in 98 and for some reason Polaris left out the Sportsmans and Magnums.I don't know why the Magnum is still left out, unless the lower duration cam has some low end power advantage for utility work?
