Default Sportsman 500 HO Mods

Guys, I have 2003 Sportsman 500 HO that I recently purchased with 700 miles on it. I installed a warn winch, front brush guard, and rear tube bumper. I have a County Plow and this weekend I plan on installing the EPI front springs as per the advice from this forum. I was wondering what bolt on parts would add to the performance? Does a K&N filter make that much of a difference, should I consider a new exhaust and if so what do you recommend. I don't want to go crazy and I certainly don't want to jeopardize reliability. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

K&N, new exhaust, and rejetting are the best ways to start. You may also look into clutch kits - to help make all that power actually usable.

Trailblazer, thanks for you advice. Any suggestions on companies that make exhaust systems for the sportsman?

Have a good holiday.
