gorilla winch
There was just a nice long topic on this.
I have one, i never used it to pull, but tested it's working ability to reel the wire back in twice, then when i went to use it for the first real time after having it for a couple of months it's locked up solid and won't freespool or engage. It's a piece of junk and you get what you pay for IMHO.

I have 2 2500lbs gorillas. Both have worked fine for over a year now. The only thing you have to worry about is being in deep mud. The mud will get in the gears and dry hard then it will not work. I took them apart and cleaned them out and they have been fine. I have had to do this 2 times in the past year. They pull just as good and warn parts are interchangable. If you do alot of mudding then I would recommend something better like the Viper winches. Otherwisw they work fine. I have about $100 invested for both. Still way cheaper than warn. The viper brand is very good.
