Is the predator dead??????
Whats your opinon on wheather the predy is going to the scap heep or will it get a new breath of life??.. the reason I say this is all the tech is going into the new 525 outlaw, polairs went so far to take things away from the new pred models like they will not have pro sterring, no more TLD models ect.ect.... Seeing that poliars races snowmobiles on all levels, why would the have no intreset in racing in the MX tour??????????????????????????/ any ideas????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????

Is the predator dead??????
i think itll stick around with some improvements since they droped the tld this year. i dont see them abandoning the straight axle guys and tell them to buy an outlaw. everyone would just run to the 450s and the rappy, which almost everyone does already. then again they companys do crazy things, like wheres the two strokes gone to

Is the predator dead??????
just a thought:
For 1 the pred did not lose Pro steering. Also they do have an LE model that is like a Troy Lee (still has Fox Podium X shocks but maintains the wide gear box)
I've been thinking about this, and i think the Predator chassis needs some updates to be a motocross machine. By that i mean that the A-arms need raked back a little more, and maybe incorporating the Outlaw's method of PRO steering instead of the Predators (1 steering cam vs. 2) to save weight. If they are doing these updates and then putting in the 450 KTM motor to make their 450 class machine it makes more sense that the 450 Pred will be in development for another year yet. Essentially, i think the outlaw got the motor first because the chassis was fresh and did not need any major overhauls. However i think the 450 Pred when it comes out will be in a nicely updated, Predator-based chassis.

Is the predator dead??????
it wouldent be smart of polaris to put the 525 motor in the Predator. The Fuji motor is what weighs it down so much, if it were to get a KTM motor it would be in the same weight class as the TRX 450's and YFZ 450's. The 450 RIPS, that coupled with the Predator chassis, which would be like sitting on a lazyboy while raceing compaired to the 450's. in my opinion the predator would be the perfect setup to have the 450 put into and be put up against the other 450's. its comfort, size (large compaired to the other quads that would be its new class)
the predator would dominate, it just needs that KTM motor, and some aluminum to the suspension
