Default Hawkeye inner C.V. joint removal

I am replaceing the inner C.V. boot on a freinds Hawkeye and have a question. He removed the halfshaft from the machine with no problem. I now have the shaft and have been unable to remove the inner joint from the shaft.
I removed the outer joint with no problem in order to get the new inner boot on the shaft and over the joint, but I
would like to remove and take the joint appart in order to clean it better. Ive done this on many other joints both
automotive and ATV but can not seem to get this one off the shaft. Does it come off? Or do I just do the best I can
with it still on the shaft. I do have a parts washer and compresed air but still would like to take the joint appart for
complete cleaning and inspection.
