Default updated page and ?

i just got the 1st tank of gas ran threw my scrambler and what should i do about maintance. should i grease it , lube the chain , check the fluids after every tank or what. what do you guys do? also i washed it off the other day as you can see in my pics and afterward it was acting up like the rev limiter was on in forward but i let it dry out and it quit. other than that is a badass quad erverything i could wish for and more. i want to get a good pair of handgaurds any suggestion?

normaly i will grease it up and lube the chain everytime i do lots of mud riding and wash it. sometimes they will act up after washing, water gets into places it dont like. i try to avoid washin when the engines hot, ive seen cracking occur on other ppls stuff

I bought Black plastic Polaris handguards for my wife's 450 SP and glad I did......They come with two different bracket mounts for the left and right side.....I don't know about aftermarket ones , so I assume they would have the same brackets with those kits.......Someone else might tell your about these....Caper.........

Your manual should also give you a clue for some maintenance things to do after specified periods of time. Like mentioned though, you should check your fluids and lube your chain after every ride. I would not think you would need to grease just after your 1st tank though. You do have to be careful what you wash, especially with a pressure washer. Stay away from electronics, clean those by hand. And a little di-electric grease goes a long way in all of your connectors.
