You wont have a problem just as long as your rear tires are 26". The 06 800 has 26" front and rear.

A friend of mine has an 800. Not sure what year, but it's either '06 or '07. Anyway he has 28x10x12 Mudlite XLs up front, and 28x12x12 rear. I've never ridden it personally, but I've seen him ride it quite a few times with no trouble at all as far as rubbing. Ya'll would know better than I would if there were any frame or suspension changes from the '05's, but I know the newer ones wider tires will work.

I had the same problem. I was going to go with the 26x9x12 but the gap with the 8' tire was about 1/2 inch and I figures it would rub so I went with the 25x8x12 and the new 25x12x12. My 03 are 25' stock and yours are 26'. Not sure what the gap is between the tierod and whell but u will need about 1/4 inch so I would measure it.

if he ran 10 up front he must have either offset rims or spacers because it would rub. even 9" would be really close and if you got anything in between the tire and strut or anything then damage could happen.

Is the 700 different on the front than a 400 ? I have 28x9 on my 400 with no problems. mine are swamp lites though not sure about mud lites.

i have 27 inch itp 589s @ 9inches was a little tight so i added 3 washers one the ft and still had plenty of stud left ,,almost went withe the hl spacers but i did not want the added stress ,already had a rt ball joint break while cruiseing at about 40mph (not fun but paid the quad off!!!)
