Default hub coil replacement

I just ordered a new hub/coill kit for my sportsman 500, the left side eneeds replacement. I don't have a clue as to how it all comes apart and go's together. Do I just pry, tap, pull? Whats the blue goo that is put between the sleeve and the hub/coil? When i pulled the strut off the quad i had to break the electrical wires to the coil, whats the typical way to reattach the new wires together? This is an ongoing problem, the four wheel drive dos'nt engage on the left side....

Default hub coil replacement

seeing you have broken the elect I would put a multimeter on both sides to just see [ign on, in gear and 4wd on] that you are actually GETTING 12 V because it will be a lot easier to fix that then take the hub apart
