the real solution that i have found, to avoid grips that shift, slide, twist, or pop off... is to use the ODI lock on grips.

the grip portion is made my OURY anyways, so they are real soft and comfy, but yet they will never move!! they havent budged a bit and they look sweet with billet locking rings.

i have the rogue 90mm(3/4 flange) grips...i have had a set mounted for a good year now. no problems, no blisters. highly recommended

Sounds like you're having carpal tunnel symtoms. I used to have to take frequent breaks because my hands went numb. After I had carpal tunnel surgery I put anti-vibe risers on and spider grips. It's been great since. But the spider grips do seem to wear out fast.

It'll make you not want to ride a stock 500 anymore. But it was NOT a good experience getting there. I'd be happy anwer any questions in PM. Don't want to hijack this thread.

Good posts you'all looks like
I need to pursue these Oury gel
grips. Couldn't find'em on Dennis
Kirk (Strange?). Yea, I wouldn't doubt
it if I do have some carpel Tunnel
symptoms too....

Cheers,

+1 in favor of Ourys. Lotsa colors, lotsa gel. I've used them exclusively on Mt. bicycles for years, and I'll put a set on my new Polaris as soon as the OE units show the least little damage, so I got an excuse.

Okay you'all I found the Oury grips, the 5" too,
but didn't see the Gel Oury grips. Question are
these block type the gel ones? I want to make
sure I order the right ones.

Much obliged!

Dennis Kirk has the Oury's. The thick block pattern is what you want, they're not gel grips but very soft and will last.....
