Default 95 425 magnum electrical question

I have a 95 Polaris 425 Magnum I'm building as a work ATV to use around the farm and I'm pretty unhappy with the lighting. The headlights, even with all three turned on, is abysmal. I was thinking of adding two high intensity lights of some sort to use as auxiliary headlights and to mount a spotlight on the handlebars. The ATV also lacks a 12volt power port so I would be adding one of those also.

Here is the 12 volt power port I'd be using:
12vpowerport

I'd be using auxiliary headlights something on the order of these:
auxiliaryheadlights

The spotlight would be something like this:
spotlight

Now my question is, would the electrical system of the 425 Magnum be capable of handling running it's normal lighting plus a pair of extra lights? How about a spotlight? Just from running all three lights I get the "feel" that it's about all the electrical system can do to run that let alone anything else. Also I'll be installing a winch in the near future so that will be adding to the electrical demands. Does the charging system have the capacity to handle the extra load? If not is there anyway to upgrade it?

Any input or advice would be appreciated.

Your 425 will pull two 55watt lights by themselves but not with your stock headlights on also. It will run two 55 watt lights as long as you keep the RPM up at a reasonable level. You can't idle or go very slow for long periods of time. The stator does not put out much untill you get above 2000 to 2500 RPM.

If you buy two good quality 55 watt lights with big reflectors they will provide all the light you would ever need.

You could use a spotlight with your 55 watt driving lights but only a little at a time.

I looked at the lights you were thinking about buying. They are basically worthless.

You can buy two decent 55 watt driving lights at WalMart for about $30 that are MUCH better.

I might be ahead to just replace the stock pair of headlights with a pair of 55 watt high performance driving lights then. I imagine I can find a pair that I can get to mount right in the stock location.

When riding in the woods at night the lighting is really inadequate even if I play with the switch a bit and get all three lights to come on. I did notice that with all three lights on and operating at low speeds picking your way through wooded trails you could see the headlights flicker or pulse with the RPMs of the ATV at times. This led me to believe the ATVs electrical system just wasn't too robust and may not be up to the task of running much over the stock electrical accessories.

Is there any way to upgrade the output of the stator? Relatively inexpensively. This is a budget buildup and I don't want to drop hundreds of bucks on something.
