i have a 03 polaris ranger 4x4 cant get it to start. i cleaned the carb, air filter ok, plug good, fuses good, spark is good. my compression is 45psi. not sure what it 's supposed to be. can you gain higher compression by adjusting valves to correct spec

 

should be about 100- 115psi sounds like the engine is your problem.

 

If the valves are tight it will lose compression. Check them.

 

If it is a 500 set both valves at .006 I am not sure on the 700s.
