Default Adjusting Shocks

All,

I would like to adjust the stiffness of the suspension on my 04 500 HO Sportsman. Can you offer instructions on how I do this? Is it simple to do? Simple tools?

Any feedback is appreciated.

Shawn

actually they make a wrench called a spanner wrench. looc like a big "C" w/ a hook one the end of it and a handle. sometimes if you lift the wheeler up you can turn it by hand. take the weight off it and it works much better. the higher the setting the stiffer the springs get.

Stendori...where do you have your shocks set on the 450 S.P. I left my wife's and mine stock or dealer set-up....I think they are all the way at the bottom...Softest setting......My wife is only about 110 pounds (WET) and I am about 165 and climbing fast...LOL....They seem to work well set there...But I never tried any other settings....Caper.......
