Default squatting 800?

Just wondering I'm not happy with my 07 800 riding 2 on it, seems to squat and doesn't handle very well compared to other machines I've ridden. Is there a cheap way of stiffening it up a bit, I have them set to the max. My friends 03 700 carb seems to do better with 2 on it then mine does and were talking about the same weight on the machine. I find going into corners and turning to be difficult. Could it be caused by this. I'm coming from a straight axel too, so maybe its me.

Thanks

if your refering to the front end of the 800, yes it does have soft feel to it if you push it it will not handle as good in the corners. i also would think if you have 2 of it it will be even worse from the lack of weight from when you gas it it really transfers the weight to the back. alot of guys replace the front springs to stiffer one to help w/ the sagging front end.

No I meant the back, and maybe the front from what you said. I know it was not made for 2, but its rated for 100 pounds for the back, and even that makes it squatt. Here in Quebec the home of ATV riding trails, 80% of couples ride 2 on them with those seats and pegs.

well they do make differnt springs for the back as well. i would think it will pretty stiff w/ one person on it after the spring up grade.

stendori,

Just wondering, did you need spacers with your new ITP Mudlit xtr's, would I beable to fit 26*9*12 589 or mudltes on my stock rims? I don't like the idea of spacers.

Thanks
