The battery is ok. Did you check to see how much you winch draws? The more powerful winches draw too much and discharge the battery. I've noticed that with older winches. The ATV2000 winch seems to work fine. I raise and lower mine about 100 times in a typical plowing session with no adverse affects. You can add a marine battery like I did on a '95 300 4x4 a few years ago, but with the proper setup you should not need it. By the time you add the extra capacity, you can change a winch and ber further ahead. Also check the voltage reg.
