sp primary clutch oiling

Default sp primary clutch oiling

Are you supose to oil your primary springs and weights on the clutch? Like with WD-40 spay oil for example.

Nope. Don't oil anything it will get on the belt and cause it to slip.

I second that. You can clean the entire clutch but do not oil! Some manufactures make a clutch cleaner that will not leave a residue. I just used mineral spirits. As long as you keep it clean (once or twice a year) you will have a happy clutch. Don't forget about the secondary.

not to mention the oil would hold belt dust or any water or mud that got in.
