Default Plow question?

I would like to sell my snowblower and buy a plower for my sportsman. Does anyon have experience with the plows for the polaris? What would you recommend? I was thinking about a 48" flat blade.

Default Plow question?

personally i would keep the snowblower which does a cleaner job. i know a couple of guys that have the moose and the other had the country. seems to do ok but w/alot of snow takes forever cleaning the driveway and need chains for the tires.

Default Plow question?

i push 60inch cycle country plow with my (little) 400 sportsman and i love it..i plow a 1/4 pvt drive so a snow blower would take a while .. i like the quad because in is a lot more nimble than some oil pos truck that might not start... the quads fun, quick and the kids love it and by the way you get to ride!!!!!!

Default Plow question?

I have Glacier plow on my 06 500 sp. It works great. I can clean the driveway in about 1/2 the time it takes to snowblow. The only complaint is that the mount which I put on in the fall and remove in the spring reduces ground clearance. My driveway is plowed and I am always careful to remove all the snow to the pavement to avoid ice which will require chains the next time.

Default Plow question?

I have the Glacier plow and use them in a commercial business and love it I do not understand the clearance issue it only takes about 1 inch away. In deep snow the last couple of runs I sit on the front with my feet on the plow and hands behind me that gets it down to the pavement

Default Plow question?

I have a 48" straightblade with the electric lift (whole set up was $525 delivered)which also swings right and left 45 degrees for faster plowing on my scrambler 500 4x4 and I absolutely love it. My driveway is 10 feet wide and 100 feet long.I plow it in less than 3 minutes.Snowblower takes 20,shovel takes 40.Plus the latter isn't any fun!
Buy it right now or I slap you square in the face!

Nice,
I was getting some bad feedback about them, but I really want one.

Default Plow question?

I have a 72" cycle country plow on my 500 Sportsman, It works very good. I'll never snow blow or shovel again if i can help it.
You can't move as much as a truck but you can get in smaller spots.
I'm just waiting on some snow.

Default Plow question?

I have a 60" Polaris plow that I use on my Magnum 425. It works twice as good as my snowblower did and is much quicker. I also bought a set of chains just for the rear (only about $35) and I never have to turn the 4x4 on no matter how steep the drive.

Default Plow question?

Great, I am going to get one for sure now. Now I just have to decide what kind and who wants my new snowblower.
