Come on , I need some responses to the question should I take the extended Polaristar Warranty at the end of my 6 month factory warranty. I can't be the only one on the forum that recieved this offer in mail toward end of factory warranty....

I'd go talk to the dealership that you would be taking it to for any warranty repairs. Ask them what they have seen covered and refused in the past. See if they are the kind that will push for it to be covered, or if they just accept the first no from Polaris.

i got it on my 06 scrambler when i bought it. it was like 366$ for 4 years. i figure if i had one engine go bad it would be worth so i got it. my dealer was empressed with them he had if it was between the warranty and mods he would go with the warranty. i went with both anyway.

You might be able to buy the same warranty from the dealer where you both bought the quad and will be taking it for service. Like anything they would make money on the sale and feel better about honoring the warranty/issues if you bought it from them. Ask, it can't hurt.

How much money are we talking about here?
At the last minute I went for a 4 year extended for 425.00. I thought the price was OK. I also has a first year model. 07 SP 800 Deluxe. The only concern is it's keeping me from putting on a clutch kit. We will see.

Its expensive. 2yr $606, 3yr $790, 4yr $941, 5yr $1136.00. I'm suprised there has been fewer comments. I assumed everyone who purchases a Polaris got the same offer at end of factory warranty. The offer came from Polaris Warranty Dept.
