I just bought a Sportsman Ho, and was wondering how it compares to the Scrambler 400 in mud? I thought the Ho would go better in the mud than the Scrambler but my friend says he believes his scrambler that he just bought could outmud the Sp Ho? I know the Scrambler is Our best performance machine but I dont think it could outmud a Sportsman. What do you think?

Never in a million years!

Smaller tires = less mud, less ground clearance.

Outrun, yes. Outmud, no. Outjump, yes. Outpull, no.
More 'grunt', more ground clearance, and more weight gives the SP the advantage as far as getting through things.
