Default 250 Plug and Oil Questions

I am going to change the spark plug on my 250. First of all, where is it (lol) and what should I use as a replacment? Anything that people have had good luck with? Also, what oil should I be running? I am starting to get a little low, so it is time to buy some.

we used synthetic 2 stroke in our trailblazer. it cuts down on the smoke and the smell. the plug is in the head top of engine.

i only run the pure polaris - stroke, it runs the best this way.. i put a qt of some valvoline in it cause i did not want to make to 40minute drive to the dealer to re-supply.. this thing ran like crap, i got about a 1/2 gas and started noticeing the difference.. i ended up draining all that oil out and went to the stealer that polaris stuff aint cheap... long story short i re-filled the oil and bleed it ..ran fine again.. i have a yamaha snowmobile and its the same way if you dont run yama-lube ,that aint cheap either... hope i could be of help.............................

I know what you mean. I have a Yamaha 30 horse outboard on my boat and it runs like junk without Yama-Lube. How much is the Polaris stuff per quart? How long would a quart last me?

I would run a champion RN4YC and polaris ves gold synthetic oil. Plug costs 2.40 and a gallon of oil is 34.00 a gallon.
