the biggest thing is when you get ice inthere it could wear a hole thru it. i would keep it as clean as you can after your ride to prevent it. when it heats up and starts melting the snow then turns to ice after it refreezes could be a problem. just my 2 cent.

stendori is right on with the ice, the snow is no problem, but oncei turns to ice, here comes new boots. i always left my quads in the heated shop after a good winter ride to let every thing melt. you do have to be carefully of the snow, radiator and fan. snow gets packed into the front end and then no air flow to the radiatior. (happend to me) also snow could pack into the fan, never had it happen, but a posibility. good luck, dont sweat the snow and cv boots.

i have a 12by 18 insulated shed i keep my quad and sled in .. after every ride or plowing rampage i always de-thaw the toys.. before i take off i turn on the kerosene heater and it get pretty toastey in there by the time i get back. i do this mainly for the cv boots, and it keeps it a lot cleaner and eaiser to work on it i have to..i just got done plowing a good 10 inches this morning @2degrees... talk about frigid... still plowed the pvt drive and the neighbers drives it was a blast, 27inch itp 589m/s tires will push some snow in low-lock..i pushed banks damn near as tall me... you guy have a good one , i am going to go injoy a good old- fashoned michigan winter paradise

I always let all of my stuff melt off otherwise it will turn to ice and it will mess with alot of stuff i have a fully heated (by a wood burner) and insulated garage I keep it a a steady 70? all winter long and i would never let my stuff sit outside with snow turning to ice then go ride it again to much stuff that its not good for.
