the biggest thing is when you get ice inthere it could wear a hole thru it. i would keep it as clean as you can after your ride to prevent it. when it heats up and starts melting the snow then turns to ice after it refreezes could be a problem. just my 2 cent.

stendori is right on with the ice, the snow is no problem, but oncei turns to ice, here comes new boots. i always left my quads in the heated shop after a good winter ride to let every thing melt. you do have to be carefully of the snow, radiator and fan. snow gets packed into the front end and then no air flow to the radiatior. (happend to me) also snow could pack into the fan, never had it happen, but a posibility. good luck, dont sweat the snow and cv boots.

I always let all of my stuff melt off otherwise it will turn to ice and it will mess with alot of stuff i have a fully heated (by a wood burner) and insulated garage I keep it a a steady 70? all winter long and i would never let my stuff sit outside with snow turning to ice then go ride it again to much stuff that its not good for.
