polaris 300 xplorer

Default polaris 300 xplorer

I have a 96 300 explorer and when I start it, it will run for a short time then stops. is this a carb problem or is something else,any ideas or suggetions if you have any would you please help me out with this

it could be the carb, wouldnt hurt to clean it. are you sure the gas is turned on or that there is gas in it?

yeah theres gas in it and its on put your thinking along the lines of the way it is acting is there a coil that can go bad thanks for your input

Sounds like you may have a pinched or plugged vent line on your gas tank.Start it with the gas cap off and see if it still dies.Or when it starts to die loose the cap up.If this helps check the line.

Hey I've been looking for a 300 xplorer to buy. What kind of shape is it in?
