Default ITP Type 5 Series "C" Rims

Just bought some new rims and tires for my 06' Sportsman 500 and went to put the hub cap on and it won't fit? The hub cap the dealer gave me is not deep enuf to snap on and it hits the rubber dust cap before it will fit? Do I have to take the rubber cap off for the ITP caps to fit on properly? And I don't need anymore clearance so I don't want to put spacers or anything on?
Thanks for any advice

if u remove the rubber caps then u will be able to get water in the axle splines which is not good. u may have gotten the wrong ones. are they plastic or metal? mine came with metal ones. i took them off becuse i think it looks better without out them but thats just my opinion.

Yah, it just came with the plastic ones. I would like to put them on just to make it look better, but I don't wanna take the rubber caps off if its gonna wreck the axles. The only other thing I can think of is putting washers as spacers on the stud bolts behind the rims to get clearance between the ITP caps and the rubber Polaris caps. Any other suggestions will gladly be accepted. Thanks

Hey Crashby, I forgot to ask something, do you have anything for spacers?

Did you have to put any kinda spacer at all Stendori? i see you have the same caps as I have, so in order to get them on you must had to have taken them rubber caps off. Talked to my dealer today too and they said to take them off if the caps will go on that way.

I'm running Rattlesnake wheels on two of our machines. They have no center hole so the cap is built-in so to speak. All my rubber caps are off, no big deal. If you ever have a reason to slip the hubs off the splined stub axle I'd put some anti-seize on the splines though, can't hurt.
