Polaris came out with a 500 beige X2, A sunset red, and a stealth all 500s

 

Am I the only one that thinks the Beige looks cool as heck?

One of my dealers has the sunset red one, The beige,..... not sure if I like or not! Ok, I looked at for awhile before I hit the "REPLY TO THREAD" I kind a like it. It didn't jump right out to me though! I had to think about it, LOL[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Looks kind of like hot chocolate. I'll take my black/silver. The beige is too much like an old Yamaha I saw.

 

I dont think id want one.. I was out at the local Polaris dealership the other day.. My friend with a Bomb 800 bent a tie rod end. He hit the rear wheel of a Honda sliding scross a lake and tweeked it bad. So we were trying to match one up from a Scrammy. It almost fit. BRP wants $120.00 for the tie rod assembly.

Anyways I was looking at the new 07's THe red and beige that is paint.. Not impregnated plastic. I wouldnt want it. IF you hit a branch and scraped it it would ruin the paint job on it. No thanks.

After looking at the new 07 800's and the asking price of $9200.00 I may be looking at a new quad in July or so about when the 08's come out.

Maybe another Polaris.. Mabye not.. My friend Brian just got a Can Am 800.. He had a 04 700 Twin.. I have ridden my friends Outlander 800.. Holy smokes. And at almost a grand cheaper and a polaris and lighter too. The power in that outty is amazing.. I rode that then got back on my 500 and it felt like it was broke.

I dont know.. I have been really happy with my Polaris.. I just wish I would have got a 800 vs the 500. I want snow tracks on mine. I know the 500 would labor hard to push the tracks. Tracks take your speed down by 40%. I rode in the snow with 2 outlander 800's, I was having a hard time keeping up with them.

I need to ride a Popo 800 first before i make a decision.. Its a hard decision to make.

Plus I have a set of brand new still in the box ITP SS106 rims.. That sucks. Have to resell those also..

Plus all my accessories on my Polaris.. Windshield, bumper, Id strip off and resell on ebay. The winch.. Id take the Warn 3.0 off of it.
