Does anyone have a life kit on a 500ho?
#1
I recently purchased a 500ho.... It is quite impressive stock.. I noticed that lift kits are available for it, just about everywhere. I was wondering if anyone has a lift kit on one. I'm concerned about the increased angle on the cv axles. Has anyone had a problem with it. The dealer here, said that it will void the warranty on the drive train, due to increased stress.
Any feed back will be appreciated.

Position the strut housing back in the original location and the angle will stay the same as stock. The draw back of doing it this way is your ride quality suffers as your using your droop to acually increase your lift.On the rear you tighten the springs, again your ride will be somewhat stiffer but your cv angles will stay the same.

My regular SP has the HL lift, and of course my dealer ranted and raved about me tearing the front end out. Sure you will, if your really hard and hell-bent for leather in your riding style. I'm pretty adventurous, and tend to spend a lot of time on my quad with the thumb throttle pushed it all the way. Of course Polaris will not warranty any changes to their machine. Heck, mine is now like I like it, and its just way to modified for the likes of a joe-consumer manufacturing company with sales being their major concern, and feeding the masses of people out there what THEY think the masses should be driving. Shame, shame Polaris, too bad you don't listen to your owners. I'll bet you felt it when you saw the Kaw 650 ACTUALLY built.
