Help! Need fuel pump for 2006 Polaris Sportsman 800 EFI
#1
Hi all,
I haven't heard about this before, but I have a faulty fuel pump (the motor runs but will not pump fuel).
The dealer and Polaris say you have to replace the entire fuel tank $$$$450.00 and cannot buy only the fuel pump.
Does anyone have or know where to get just the fuel pump or a better price on the whole tank? Are there any '06 800's being parted out? I think the '05 might work also.
Thank you,
Smitty

Hello,
New to the forum. I have a 2005 Sportsmans 700 EFI with bad fuel pump. From what I can tell they are the same as the 800,s.
I also was told I would have to replace the whole tank at $450.00. Would you let me know what you found in your search ?
Thanks, Dave

i put this question on another polaris forum w/ not many replys. one was to check out the ridgerunner.com and the other was to bring it to match it up w/ a automotive one.
