Mine is a 2006 sportsman 500. I bought it on sept. 8th of 06. I have washed it with a mild dishwashing soap. ITs kept clean and in a garage. I talked to my dealer this morning and all those he was a rude there are gonna fix it. Which is good b/c my warranty runs up next thursday. Im gonna go with green. Also its hard to trust dealers b/c they wanna make a sale... so sometimes they lie. Not saying all of them but a lot of them. Its hard to spot at first. My advice to you is to take off your seat and look at the camo which has never seen the sun and compare it to the plastic outside the seat. If its doing it you will notice a purple tint in the design.
