my machine just went in for an engine overhaul, i told the mechanic it was running rich and found out the choke was always on, so he fixed that. He also REMOVED this nylon gasket, i didn't get to see it, but he said hes never seen it before so he just took it out. i was wondering if someone has done this, will this cause problems? what was it for ? thanks for the help

 

what gasket does he mean? im not sure what he's talking about.

 

i think he was talkin about the one between the bowl and hte top of the carb and im not sure if it will do damage or not

 

He might have been talking about the half washer that is put in the slide to control half clip settings for the needle jet. IT probably won't hurt anything(if that's what he's talking about). I know people that lose them and don't ever buy another to replace it...it is really only for fine tuning the needle(1/4 to 1/2 throttle range).

 

we need more data for the answer to that one. washer from where, what part? 3130355 WASHER i beleave this is the pn# for the small washer on the needle that duneaholic is refering too.
