the 400 is a super atv, i have had mine since day one out of the crate. they have lots of power and can really be unleashed with some general mods, and if you want ultra fast some engine mods can be done to make it lighting fast, now if your hoping to beat 450's and 700's your gonna really have to put this thing on a diet! mine stock would go about 61mph all stock and now does about 55 but goes there really fast now (gearing). you wont be disappointed with this ride! enjoy it !

it should be between 50-60 depending on gearing!

stock mine ran 65gps on pavement so about 60 on dirt. now it runs about 20mph higher with my 13-30 gears. ive geared it down some, acceleration is there real benefit.

like tom said they respond great to mods, the jugs are so choked up and poorly ported stock theres alot of power in them.
