I might just by a gorrilla winch for 70.00 and then get a piese of metal and make one.Ithought to just weld the plate to the rear of the bumper than to those vertical pieces6inches behind the bumper.

 

yea you would bring that up. lol. live and learn. i think the gorilla comes w/ a bolt on bracket where you could make some braket pieces to weld to it.

I have a 1500lb warn winch on my scrammy 500 4x4 and it will lift the quad off the ground. I made a bracket that fits between the bumper and radiator and it is a real clean set up. I have a few brackets left with the clamps. It will fit most 2000 lb or smaller winches including the one that harbor freight sells. It is a tight fit and as long as your bumper isnt bent it will work fine. Email me if you want pics. lslubecki@sbcglobal.net

Opps. Ment to say my bracket will fit any type 3 be it a scrambler, sport, or trailblazer.
