Im going to buy the oem cv boot and clamps and clamp tool for my sp 500, but the website is selling 2 types of clamps and tools. An "earless type and a non earless type"....what Type do I have in these pictures....thanks

Pic 1 i think is the earless clamp.

 

i could only get the first pic to come up but that looks like the clamp (stock) i have on mine as well.

you can get the boots cheaper on ebay and they are just as good

 

i do beleave that is what they call them. i like the ones on the kawaski better. there easier to put onand cna reuse them. the earless polaris clamp use a specail tool to put them on,nut you can manage w/ needle nose.

 

Yea, I went ahead and ordered the clamp tool on e-bay to make it easier....I'm pretty sure I'll end up doing this job a time or two more..lol it was only $16.00 w/shipping.....as far as the ebay boots,they seem fine maybe a little thicker .....hopefully when I get the new clamps in everything will fall back in place and I will be back on the trail this weekend.

 

Yes they are the earless type, the other style clamp wont work cause there is not enough clearance, I would use the polaris boot kit cause you know it will work.
