Just got a new quad. How long should I wait before I start using my plow. I don't want to heart the engine.

 

I'd at least wait until the break-in period's over and done with, then give 'er hell!!

I would think that as long as you take it easy, you can plow right away. The owners manual says that you should avoid prolonged idling or prolonged running at full throttle. I think as long as you avoid idling and take it easy, you should be able to plow as part of your break in. Be sure to use low gear to avoid premature belt damage.
