I found this 06 sportsman 500 efi and it went through a tornado and got tossed about 450 feet and is pretty mangled up and i think i am going to buy it and rebuild it. I will post some before and after pics when i get time, this should be a fun one, wish me luck, she is pretty bad:0

 

Why not just buy an used one with
less problems etc? I don't know, tornado's
can change moculeur (Sp?) structures
too, even the steel in the encases, frame,
wire, rods, bars, could have non-noticeable
integrity issues. Just a thought..8)

i also would be worried about frame damage. i dont know as if you could see if the frame was twisted of not. i would really lok at this and maybe do some pricing of parts first. just my .02

 

Sounds like you're buying nothing more than "parts" quad. Even then, it sounds like a lot of those parts aren't going to be any good.

Even if it was given to you, you're gonna spend more time and money than a decent used one would have been. Then still have the worries of future problems.

 

What kind of price are you spending ?
