I'm considering a new 2006 model 700 EFI, from the local dealer. He wants 6k for the machine. He is figuring the trade in value of my current machine and will get back to me with the final numbers with trade in. Another dealer has sp700's in both carb and EFI. He wants $5800 carb, and $6100 EFI. The first dealer said he didnt order any 700's in carb for 2006, because he didnt like the choke issue. He claims the 700 carb is cold blooded and therefore the EFI is the only way to go. I have no way of knowing this myself. I dont know anybody with a 700 to ask. But what I do know is the 2006 EFI is a thousand less than a 2007, which makes the price seem pretty fair. Is this price in line? And would it be a good machine for that money? Thanks guys!

 

Soupcan-sounds like good prices to me. I paid $6300 for a new 04 700EFI. Great machine.

 

That sounds like a really good deal if its the 06 with the alloy rims and rack extension. I believe the green one had steel wheels even though it was efi.

 

Its the plain-jane machine, without fancy wheels or rack extensions. And the only color left is the standard green/black. Not my favorite color, but its not that bad either.

 

My friend just got an OTD price 0f 7400 for a 2006 800 EFI Polaris.

I thought that was a good price.? Now im thinking it might be a little high?

 

considering the retail for (800 efi) $8699.00 thats not too bad.
